As much as I love fashion and accessories, I have never really loved jewellery. As much as I enjoy seeing stunning pieces on other people and I can appreciate how stunning it is, I have never worn it myself. I think that my aversion to jewellery came from my severe lack of confidence for such a long time. I thought that my layering up in necklaces and rings, I would draw attention to myself and that was the last thing that I wanted. But, my confidence has soared this past year and I am not obsessed with layering my looked with jewellery. Currently, I probably own far too much jewellery, but I thought that today I would share my favourites. These are the pieces that I always reach for and think look amazing. Here are my favourite jewellery pieces in my collection.
Tiffany & Co Coffee Bean Necklace.
The first item that I am going to mention is a Tiffany classic. When I was younger, the jewellery brand that I adored was without a doubt. If I think back to my teenage years, I used to be adored in the ‘Return To Tiffany’ collection. As I got older, I feel like that dated, but I still wanted a piece to show my love for the brand. That is where this coffee bean necklace comes into place. I went for a solid gold coffee bean necklace, and it lives on my neck. I feel like to Tiffany fans, they will recognise the iconic look, but it is a talking point to other people.
Missoma Horn Necklace.
Some people may think that this necklace is a little overdone at this point, but I love it. I think that this may actually be the first ever piece that I purchased from Missoma. If you cast your mind back around 5 years ago, I think every single girl on Instagram was wearing this. It may be a little overdone, but it suits me and my style so well. I love that it brings something a little different to my layered necklace looks. I probably wear this every single day and the quality still looks amazing. I am living for this at the moment.
Moissanite Engagement Ring.
If you have been around for some time, you may know that my engagement ring was a morganite stone. My original ring is a stunning cushion cut morganite and I still adore it. The only reason why I bought my Moissanite is because it is a more hardwearing stone. I want to be able to show my kids my Morganite one day and it still be in good condition. Anyway, my Moissanite is out of this world. A truly timeless style of ring that I know I will wear for many years to come. I get hoards of compliments on this ring and I am so glad that I made the investment and got an alternative ring!
Cartier Tank Watch.
When I was growing up, my dad always had a really nice watch. When I was in my early twenties, I wore an Apple Watch, mainly for monitoring my activity. However, it always felt pretty ugly and chunky. I wanted to upgrade to a timepiece that I would have forever and a day. I was torn between the Cartier Tank and the Rolex Datejust, but the Cartier beat the competition. For me, there is something so romantic about the brand Cartier, whereas I can find Rolex to be a little too ‘Instagram’ for me. I have worn my Tank watch every single day now for over 2 years. And I love it just as much as the first day that I purchased it.
Tiffany & Co Paloma Love Ring.
As much as I truly adore my moissanite engagement ring that I mentioned above, sometimes I like something simpler. That is why I opted to buy my Tiffany & Co Paloma Love Ring. When I first saw this, I fell in love with it. Because I am going through this stage where I love to stack rings, I knew I would get my moneys worth out of it. I love to wear this on my wedding ringer, alongside my very simply diamond wedding band. I think that this alongside some of my other gold rings are stunning. It is just a timeless design that will always mean something to me.
Carrie Elizabeth Green Topaz Necklace.
The last item that I am going to mention in my favourite jewellery post is my Carrie Elizabeth necklace. I think I saw an Instagram advert for this brand and that is how I discovered this necklace. I was looking for some delicate layering pieces and that is when I found my green topaz necklace. This necklace is wonderful quality, matches up to the appearance of my high-end pieces and I adore it. No matter what I layer with this, it always looks the past. Plus, it is special enough to wear on its own if I am going for a more paired back look.
