If you are bored of your make-up routine and you’ve been wearing the same combination of eyeshadows and lipsticks for years, maybe it wouldn’t hurt to make a change. Putting on a vibrant lip shade is the easiest way to transform your look and it doesn’t even take too much effort or special skills.
I am currently loving Heroine from Mac. The texture is lovely, it goes on matte but stays creamy throughout the wear, it doesn’t dry out the lips and it’s very long lasting. I adore it!
TIPS :
When using bold lipstick you need to follow two basic steps :
- Use concealer around the border of your lips to prevent lipstick from running around your mouth
- Lip liner is a must! Make sure it matches your lipstick colour and don’t forget to also fill your lips after you’ve lined them. The lipstick will hold longer.
I love wearing Mac lipliner in the shade Fashion Boost which pairs perfectly with Heroine. The final result is just a flawless fuchsia shade that looks gorgeous on anyone!
If you want to experiment a different look and feel glamorous, go for purple! It’s more daring than the classic red, a bit edgy and surely not boring. Definitely worth a try! Wear it with confidence and a neutral eyeshadow or just mascara and nothing else and dare to stand out!
