Vieve Essentials Palette Review

It is time for a new beauty review and today it is going to be all about the Vieve Essentials Palette. When Jamie Genevieve first released her makeup brand, I knew that I had to get my hands on some items.  Typically, I stay away from influencer brands and collaborations because I have always found them pretty lack lustre. However, I have always really enjoyed Jamie’s content and her vibe, so I wanted to support.

I picked up a few items, one of them being the Vieve Essentials Palette. After loving and using this for over a year, I finally feel ready to share my thoughts with you guys. However, I am sure you will already know that I love this because I’ve been using it non-stop for a very long time. That alone shows that I was happy to stick with it!

Why I wanted this palette.

As I mentioned above, the main reason why I wanted this was to support. Seen as though I do consume her content so frequently, I wanted to support her brand. At the time, I went ahead and picked up the Vieve Essentials Palette and a couple other items during her launch. Plus, on first impressions I was so impressed with the palette and how it looked. It was love at first site.

The shade range.

The main thing that appealed to me about this palette was the amazing shade range. At first glance, this palette is packed with amazing shades that are so easy to use. It is packed with neutrals, a couple glitters and then an amazing black. For me, on first glance this palette has everything that I could possibly need on a daily basis. There are certain shades that I use more than others, but broadly speaking, the shades are everything that I could need from a palette.

The consistency.

When it comes to an eyeshadow palette, I always check the consistency of the shades. This comes after the big Anastasia Subculture scandal a number of years ago. I would say that the Vieve Essentials Palette texture of these shades is pretty powdery. That is good for two things. The first is that it makes them easy to manipulate and blend. Plus, if you do get any fall out while applying, it knocks off really easily. Out of all similar palettes that I have used recently, this has to be one of my favourite textures.

The longevity.

One thing that I have come to realise over the past few months is that I have very oily eyelids. That means that my eyelids can break down product quite easily. I have had some eyeshadows that just seem to disintegrate on my eyes and there will be no pigment left. However, I have not found that to be the case with the Vieve Essentials Palette. The pigment applies well and stays put all day long. It never fades, it just stays put and sits firm for the entire day.

Would I repurchase?

As I am sure you guys can already tell, I adore this Vieve Essentials Palette. It has become a favourite addition to my collection, and I adore it. I use it every single day without fail and nothing has bumped it from the top spot. When I hit pan on my favourite shades, I won’t think twice about picking up another. Plus, for shades this amazing, pan sizes this fantastic, the price point is amazing at the side of some other brands out there. It has made me excited to try more items by Vieve.
